There truly are miracles in life...
Life is that miracle.







Miracles abound. They are all about us. We see them every day about us and yet, with our stilted thinking, we never see them as such.

Is there time...?

There's always time.

A 14 year-old boy who was left paralysed after suffering from a brain tumour has baffled doctors by making an unexpected recovery and getting his black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Daniel Kimmins underwent emergency surgery just days before his seventh birthday when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

After the operation he was left paralysed down the left hand side of his body - which doctors warned could be permanent.

We may not know, we cannot tell but only wonder. To stand in awe is humility itself and recognition that miracles abound.




Young Person of the Year | Bath Pride Awards 2013

The nominees for this year's Young Person of the Year:

Millie Brown: Millie, aged 16, voluntarily led a group of young people in their social action project raising money for Julian House. They sourced donations and sponsorship to create Christmas shoe box gifts and organised a Christmas Bazaar.

Daniel Kimmins: 13-year-old Daniel was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2006, and after a battle to walk and talk again, he has joined forces with his friends to support the Stand Up To Cancer initiative sponsored by Cancer Research UK and Channel 4.

Seb White: Four-year-old Seb, who has Down's syndrome, has taken the modelling world by storm, appearing in the Marks & Spencer catalogue and Christmas television advert. He was even asked to switch on the Christmas lights in Moorland Road.
